Mary Dickens was born between 1770-74 in Bute County,
North Carolina - and died between 1830-40 in Jackson
Co., TN. She married John Bush who was born about
1772. It is not clear when and where he died - but
in 1850 Smith Co., TN there was a 90 year old John Bush
with a 66 year old wife named Elizabeth (It is very
likely that this John was Mary's husband). John
Bush was the brother of Jeremiah Bush who married Mary's
sister Rebecca.
