Dickens Cemetery - Maggart Road at Hurricane Creek,

are some newer burials that are not included on the list. In the
smaller overlayed picture, my father is standing between the two
headstones for the Reverend Lewis Bransford Dickens 1845-1915 (a
Civil War soldier) and wife Martha LN Shoemake 1848-1913; they
were my fathers' Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother. Too
many Dickens relatives are here to list them!

are numerous "Unmarked"
grave sites at this location. In the smaller overlayed picture
are the headstones for: Henry (Hery) Dickens 1827-1907 and his
wife Elizabeth (Lizie) Dillard 1827-1905. This cemetery is on
the Banks of the Cumberland River - and there are a few newer
buriels here.

My Great Grandfather Sircey Dickens 1873-1953 and his wife Mary
Tennessee "Molley" Overstreet 1879-1946 and her mother (My 2nd
Great Grandmother) Tennessee Rebecca Malone 1859-1938 are
burried here. Tennessee Rebecca Malone's husband "William
Brooks Overstreet" 1856-1925 is buried nearby on Jonesboro Lane
at the Grisham Cemetery.
